Clifford and Kenny, LLP has broad experience in working with clients to develop bargaining strategies, drafting proposals, conducting negotiations, and drafting memoranda and collective bargaining agreements at the conclusion of bargaining.

Our firm represents many different municipal employers, and we pride ourselves on helping municipalities to manage labor costs through effective collective bargaining. This experience includes multi-layered negotiations over issues such as furloughs, changes in health insurance, wages, hours and conditions of employment. Since police and firefighter unions have the ability to pursue interest arbitration through the Joint Labor Management Committee (JLMC), we tailor bargaining strategies with those unions so that the municipal employer is positioned to achieve positive results, through arbitration if necessary.
